Full Description TS/SCI Required Join our secure IT operations team to manage and maintain critical Windows-based infrastructure in a classified environment. We're seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator with active TS/SCI clearance to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our enterprise systems. You'll be responsible for managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory services, and security protocols while maintaining compliance with strict government security standards and regulations. Responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) in classified networks • Manage Active Directory services including user accounts, group policies, and organizational units • Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based servers, workstations, and enterprise applications • Implement and maintain security policies, patches, and compliance measures for classified systems • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime and reliability • Perform regular backup operations and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems • Manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere or Hyper-V platforms • Configure and maintain network services including DNS, DHCP, and file sharing services • Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions and antivirus systems • Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and configuration standards • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management for Windows infrastructure • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls and incident response procedures • Manage software deployment, updates, and licensing compliance across the enterprise • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users and system issues • Participate in change management processes and maintain system configuration baselines • Collaborate with network administrators and other IT teams for integrated system solutions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field • Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to maintain clearance eligibility • 3+ years of experience in Windows system administration in enterprise environments • Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022) • Proven experience with Active Directory administration, group policy management, and domain services • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) • Understanding of network protocols, services, and Windows networking fundamentals • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system management • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Windows Server Backup) • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security controls • Understanding of STIG compliance and government security standards Desired Qualifications Experience working in classified or government environments with security protocols • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, or equivalent) • Knowledge of configuration management tools (SCCM, Ansible, Puppet) • Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS) • Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (SCOM, Splunk, ELK stack) • Experience with database administration (SQL Server, Oracle) • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems for hybrid environment management • Understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks • Experience with enterprise security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA) • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other cybersecurity certifications • Experience with automation and infrastructure as code practices • Knowledge of network security appliances and firewall management • Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration About the Company: Gateway Geospatial Group
