GDMS - Pittsburgh has openings for Dev-Ops Engineering Interns (2025) to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to work on projects that support some of our nations fundamental defense services. Check out who we are and what we do here In this role, you will be responsible for the development of software and systems products in a UNIX, Linux and/or Windows-based workstation environment. This role will offer you the opportunity to: • Integrate as a member of a Dev-Ops team and complete assigned tasks, that will nurture and expand your technical skills • Learn systems in order to update information • Enter data into various systems • Research and document various data processes • Abide by all safety procedures outlined by the company TECHNICAL SKILLS: • Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML and CSS • Comfortable working with Visual Studios and Eclipse IDEs. • Experienced with various Server Frameworks, DOM, and Java Web App Platform (Tomcat) • Adept with Microsoft Office - especially Excel, Power-Point, and Word • Comfortable working with Windows 7, 8, Mac OSX Mavericks (10.6+), and Linux RELATED COURSES a plus • Database Management Systems • Object-Oriented Programming in Java • Advanced Programming • Operating Systems • Data Structures, Algorithms & Complexity • Computer Architecture #LI-Hybrid Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
