As a Senior Data Scientist and MLOps Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our machine learning infrastructure. This position involves:
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive ML pipelines using Azure Machine Learning.
• Developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient ML workflows utilizing GitHub Actions.
• Deploying machine learning models to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other Azure-hosted platforms.
• Monitoring model performance and identifying data drift; implementing automated retraining strategies to enhance model accuracy.
• Collaborating with infrastructure teams to effectively manage compute resources, storage solutions, and security measures.
• Working closely with data scientists to transition experimental code into reliable production environments.
• Ensuring reproducibility, versioning, and traceability of data, models, and code throughout the ML lifecycle.
• Maintaining best practices in MLOps, including adherence to security, testing, and observability standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Engineering roles.
• Strong skills in SQL and Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or ML Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficient with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience with model deployment, versioning, and monitoring in production environments.
• Knowledge of ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, DVC, and Azure ML tracking.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience developing and deploying Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) using frameworks such as Azure OpenAI Service.
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred; specialized training or relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week. The typical pay range for this role is between $83,430.00 and $222,480.00 annually. Your actual base salary will be determined by various factors, including experience, education, and geography. This position is also eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
