Job Description: Job Summary This position provides direct support to the department by assisting with analysis, research, reporting, and preparation of presentation materials. He/She researches results to address specific business needs, perform data analyses, and create recommendations based on findings. This position communicates results to key stakeholders and proactively addresses related issues. Responsibilities: • Develops actionable research objectives to address key business issues. • Performs analysis, analyzes data, and interprets findings to ensure comprehensive understanding of results before presenting to stakeholders. • Maintains an understanding of current market and industry practices to leverage existing knowledge and optimize the development of customer analysis. • Communicates findings and insights from analysis to key stakeholders. • Builds databases to manage data for new reports. • Builds reports to efficiently and effectively summarize information, trends, and analyses using graphs, charts, and text. • Documents reporting processes to facilitate development of standard reports. • Documents queries used to build reports to ensure replicability. • Interacts with data providers regarding source data to ensure quality and efficiency of processing. Qualifications: • Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • PowerBI/Coding (ex. Python), and Excel (with some business knowledge on how growth/decline works) • SQL knowledge - Preferred • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required Employee Type: Intern UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
