About the Role We are seeking a Lead .NET Engineer to join our high-performance Engineering team. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to build scalable, secure, and intelligent healthcare software that makes a real impact. As a Lead .NET Engineer, you will drive architectural decisions, implement high-quality code, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver mission-critical solutions. You’ll help evolve our platform while championing modern development practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and delivery of .NET-based solutions across multiple product lines. Hands-on Engineering: Write clean, scalable code using C# and .NET Core; contribute to complex backend services and APIs. Architecture & Design: Make strategic decisions about architecture, frameworks, and tools. Ensure scalability, security, and performance across the platform. Team Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in SDLC, including CI/CD and test automation. Cross-functional Partnership: Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Data teams to align engineering work with business priorities. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for refactoring, tech debt reduction, and platform modernization. QUALIFICATIONS: 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role Deep proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, microservices, and event-driven systems Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tooling Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and collaborative product development Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentorship skills BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with healthcare technologies, HIPAA-compliant systems, or FHIR standards For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $170,000 to $180,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
