Senior Application Project Lead – DC Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) Location: Washington, DC (Onsite 4 days per week) Rate: $65/hr We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Project Lead to play a pivotal role at the DC Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) . This professional will lead key initiatives focused on placement management, provider management, and service referral management within a new comprehensive child welfare information system (CCWIS) . Responsibilities Serve as the project lead for the Placement Management and Provider Management workstream. Coordinate and schedule solution modeling and design sessions with stakeholders. Develop and refine requirements, process flows, user stories, and wireframes for the new platform. Facilitate business approvals for design concepts and ensure alignment with user needs and strategic goals. Present completed work to business users, collect feedback, and implement improvements. Develop and maintain a service catalog and streamline service referral workflows. Provide hands‑on project management for the Service Referral application integrated with Dynamics 365. Oversee user management, ensuring secure and efficient access control. Support testing, rollout, and post‑deployment activities for system enhancements. Manage project documentation, bug tracking, and progress reporting using modern tools. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and ensure high‑quality, timely deliverables. Qualifications 12+ years in application project leadership or business systems analysis. Proven experience in Health & Human Services solutions or government agency projects. Strong background in requirements gathering, documentation, and workflow design. Hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, and Visio. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
