The Job The Data Business Analyst is a key member of the Technology Data organization, responsible for understanding business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering data-driven solutions. Serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, this role ensures alignment between strategic goals and technology initiatives. In addition to core analysis work, the analyst leads QA efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance testing practices, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement in product quality and performance. The Day-to-day • Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify gaps, define requirements, and develop data-driven solutions that align with strategic objectives. • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of data and technology initiatives. • Design and present clear, actionable reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to support decision-making across the organization. • Lead end-to-end QA efforts—including planning, executing, and monitoring test strategies, automation frameworks, and regression testing—to ensure data accuracy and system reliability. • Perform detailed audits, defect analysis, and root cause investigations to continuously improve testing efficiency and product quality. • Generate and communicate quality metrics and insights to stakeholders and leadership, driving innovation and continuous improvement in QA and data validation practices. The Ideal Candidate • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data delivery, query writing, or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of data-driven environments. • Proficient in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java, with practical experience in writing complex queries and building automated workflows. • Skilled in using business intelligence and data visualization tools, along with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite to support reporting and analysis. • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and able to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative team environments while balancing multiple priorities. • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to engage stakeholders, present insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
