Join our dynamic team as a Cloud Security Specialist Expert! Are you passionate about cloud technologies and information security? We are looking for a dedicated professional to manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and ensure the highest standards of security are met. Primary Responsibilities • Oversee Google Cloud Platform (GCP) service management. • Maintain certification as a Certified Cloud Security Professional while demonstrating considerable knowledge in cloud computing security. • Identify, manage, and resolve security risks within cloud computing environments, applying best practices across all deployment and service models. Additional Responsibilities • Investigate incidents related to computer and information security to evaluate potential compromises to national security information. • Define security objectives and outline system-level performance requirements. • Stay current on tools, techniques, and vulnerabilities in the realm of computer networks. • Configure and validate secure systems while testing security products to uncover weaknesses. • Maintain programs that assess security incidents, damage, and threats. • Conduct formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) as required by government accreditation authorities. • Participate in regular audits of systems and oversee corrective actions until resolved. • Design and recommend integrated system solutions to protect confidential data and systems. • Help establish control processes to mitigate risks and support certification and accreditation of systems. • Review and enhance security protocols for improved cybersecurity measures. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Expertise in FedRAMP assessment methodology focused on security and privacy controls in cloud systems across six essential domains: • Architectural Concepts & Design Requirements • Cloud Data Security • Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security • Cloud Application Security • Operations • Legal & Compliance • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST C&A processes. • Proven experience with DOD Information Assurance (IA) standards. • Experience in evaluating IA controls and conducting assessments for large, complex information systems. Security Clearance • Must possess an active Secret level clearance. • Sensitivity Level: IT-I Critical Sensitive. Certifications • Computing Environment: IAT II or IAT III (Security+ or equivalent). • Baseline Certification: Some Azure or AWS cloud-based certification from DLA Approved CE list. • AWS Certified Security Specialty or Solutions Architect certifications. • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect Expert. • Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate. Key Skills • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly. • Capable of setting technical objectives with some autonomy. • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Advanced understanding of encryption, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, cyber forensics, intrusion detection, and incident response. Compensation ranges from $80,200 to $142,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
