Our client, a cutting-edge technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the development and optimization of machine learning pipelines. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying sophisticated AI and ML solutions that drive innovation and provide a competitive edge. As a Lead AI Engineer, you will guide a talented team of engineers, foster best practices, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our AI infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable machine learning pipelines. Implementing and optimizing ML models for various applications, including predictive analytics and natural language processing. Collaborating with data scientists to translate research models into production-ready systems. Establishing and enforcing MLOps best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining. Leading and mentoring a team of AI and ML engineers. Evaluating and integrating new AI technologies and tools. Ensuring the performance, efficiency, and security of AI systems. Contributing to architectural decisions and technical roadmap development. Developing strategies for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with significant experience in building and deploying ML models in production. Expertise in Python and popular ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is essential. Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of MLOps principles and tools is a must. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to guide the team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
