Job Title: Server Administrator Location: Remote Duration: 6 months+ extension Job Duties The duties of a Server Administrator include, but are not limited to: • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft SharePoint; • Provide primary server administrative support; • Evaluate and recommend changes to the server environment based on analysis of the monitoring effort; • Oversee the server deployment process including physical infrastructure, uptime requirements, performance requirements, security requirements and physical space requirements; • Recommend additional software based on the analysis of performance and security requirements; • Supervise the installation and testing of server software; • Evaluate and complete server system upgrades; • Troubleshoot server infrastructure and related problems; • Conduct performance monitoring and tuning.
