Duration: 12 Months, extension possible based on needs and performance Job Title: AI Prompt Engineer and RPA Implementation Specialist Location: Long Island City, NY 11101 Summary of Position: • The nation's leading local health department seeks a skilled AI Prompt Engineer / AI Agent Implementation / RPA Specialist to join our technology team. • This role combines cutting-edge AI capabilities with robotic process automation to drive digital transformation across our organization. • The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing AI agents, crafting effective prompts, and implementing automated solutions in our Windows-centric environment with Linux integration. Job Duties: AI Prompt Engineering & Agent Development: • Design and develop AI agents using Azure OpenAI services and large language models (Nice to have) • Create, test, and refine prompts for optimal AI model performance and accuracy • Implement generative AI solutions with Azure OpenAI Service • Apply prompt engineering techniques to enhance model outputs and reduce hallucinations • Develop conversational AI interfaces and intelligent automation workflows RPA Implementation & Management: • Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using MS Power Automate • Create both attended and unattended robotic process automation solutions • Develop desktop flows and cloud flows for comprehensive automation coverage • Integrate RPA solutions with existing business applications and systems • Troubleshoot and maintain automation solutions for optimal performance System Integration & Development: • Integrate AI agents with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems • Develop automation solutions that work across Windows and Linux environments • Create and maintain documentation for all automation processes and AI implementations • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities • Required Technical Skills Core Programming & Development: • Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java • MS .NET Framework expertise, particularly Visual Basic .NET • SQL for database management and data manipulation • HTML/CSS for web-based automation and interface development AI & Machine Learning: • Azure OpenAI platform experience with GPT models and embeddings • Natural Language Processing (NLP) using frameworks like NLTK, SpaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers • Prompt engineering techniques and best practices • Machine learning concepts and model implementation • Computer vision for image recognition and processing tasks Microsoft Power Platform: • Power Automate (both desktop and cloud flows) • Power Automate Desktop for RPA development • Power Apps and Dataverse integration • AI Builder for incorporating AI capabilities into workflows Azure Cloud Services: • Azure OpenAI Service deployment and management • Azure
