We are a trusted partner for innovation, mission support, and digital transformation. This role supports NATO’s Capability Development Management Support (CDMS) program at HQ SACT. Position Overview We are seeking two Senior Microsoft Office 365 / Power Platform / SharePoint Online Developers to join our NATO HQ SACT support team in Norfolk, VA. You will design, develop, and enhance mission-critical tools that transform HQ administrative processes, beginning with a comprehensive travel management solution and expanding to human resources, business management, and legal process automation. Key Responsibilities • Build and support Microsoft 365–based tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to streamline HQ administration. • Develop and maintain a NATO travel management tool integrating TDY, home leave, education travel, and recruitment/separation travel. • Expand tools to integrate historical travel data, claims processes, desk booking, and leadership reporting. • Deliver a standardized HQ travel plan tool by October 2025. • Support API integration with NATO’s Oracle-based Financial System (FinS), if approved. • Develop HR automation tools, manage HR dashboards, and maintain existing PowerApps solutions. • Provide process automation support for business management and legal teams. • Collaborate closely with NATO stakeholders to ensure security, usability, and governance compliance. Required Qualifications • Education/Experience: Minimum of 5 years proven professional experience in Microsoft software development/DevOps (accepted in lieu of a degree). • Technical Expertise: • Minimum of 3 years (in the last 5) developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). • Minimum of 3 years (in the last 5) developing/customizing SharePoint Online. • Experience with API integration projects. • Experience in constrained, security-governed network environments similar to NATO’s. • Experience in Power Platform/intelligent automation governance frameworks (environment strategy, security models, DLP policies). • Clearance: Active NATO or National SECRET (or higher). • Language: English proficiency to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333 (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) or equivalent. • Other: NATO nation passport with no travel restrictions; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative software.
