Data Science & Digital Innovation Intern
The Data Science & Digital Innovation Intern will work as part of the Global Service Strategy and Commercial Excellence team to support the Design for Service initiative. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, and digital framework development to enhance service design and delivery.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Service Strategy and Commercial Excellence Internship will be located in Miami or Indianapolis and will be an on-site role.
What will you do:
- Analyze service-related datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportuni ties for improvement.- Develop predictive models and simulations to support service design decisions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.- Assist in building digital frameworks and tools to support scalable service in novation.- Document findings and present insights in a clear, compelling format to stakeholders.
Who are you:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Data Science or Computer Science with a focus in Engineering or a related field.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in service innovation.- Preferred experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, integrated development environments and notebook tools, data visualization tools, big data tools, cloud platforms, and machine learning frameworks (e.g. Python, R, Notebook/Lab, Tableau, Power BI, Apache, Microsoft Azure, etc.).- Digitally savvy, with an aptitude for understanding and applying emerging technologies.- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working with large datasets and data cleaning techniques.- Building dashboards or digital prototypes.- Using cloud platforms or digital tools (e.g., Azure, AWS, GitHub).- Understanding of service operations or customer experience design.
The hourly range for this role is $30.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
