JPC Partners is looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator / Developer that will maintain and enhance SQL-based infrastructure, support web-based tools, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and optimize existing SQL Server-based software solutions • Tune queries, indexes, and stored procedures for peak performance • Enhance web-based tools through backend programming and UI improvements • Monitor database health using SQL Profiler and related tools • Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies • Collaborate with third-party DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines • Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols • Participate in capacity planning and system upgrades • Provide documentation and support for internal processes • Engage directly with customers to support data-driven solutions Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or Developer • Strong proficiency in SQL/T-SQL (2000–2022) • Ability to build and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, and jobs • Strong troubleshooting skills for SQL performance and process issues • Experience with SSIS and SSRS • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure SQL or AWS RDS) is a plus • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure DBA) preferred • Passion for data, problem-solving, and continuous improvement • Self-motivated, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset
