The Role: The Finance Business Intelligence Analyst will work with stakeholders and Product Owners to understand asks, document requirements, and build business intelligence (BI) solutions that generate valuable insights to drive business growth and optimize workflows. This role will oversee the overall data-hygiene governance, processes, and workflows based on business and technical requirements needed to channel data from multiple inputs, routing appropriately, and storing data using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required. CPI is a high-integrity organization, and successful team members, including this key role, will admit mistakes, take corrective action quickly (fail fast), and be diligent in providing the best solutions while meeting deadlines. What You Get To Do Everyday: Build accurate and repeatable reporting deliverables with reporting and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Excel based on the business case. Collaborate with Technology Services and Finance teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization. Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues. A natural curiosity about reported data is critical. Create documentation for newly generated reports and update existing documentation for planned enhancements. Promote work-stream visibility by collaborating with team members. Utilize repositories to track versioned report enhancements. Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
