The Data Governance Senior Analyst Assistant Vice President will lead data-focused technology solutions and improve processes within the Services Enterprise Data Office. This role requires strong analytical skills and project management experience to support data governance initiatives.
The Data Governance Senior Analyst Assistant Vice President (AVP) is a seasoned professional role. The selected candidate will be part of the Services Enterprise Data Office (EDO) Operational Execution Team and will play a key role in delivering data-focused technology solutions and will contribute to the improvement of processes and workflow for key business functions. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Responsibilities: • Consult with end users to support defining, and/or integrating processes to align with the enterprise Data Governance roadmap and/or Data Risk and Control framework and taxonomy • Ability to think strategically, creatively problem solve, and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives • Leads system change process from requirements through implementation and contributes to workflow or process change/redesign • Monitor and report governance metrics including Data Governance adoption and maturity • Monitor alignment of processes across business, functions, and lines of business to the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and standards to meet its specific requirements • Develop resources to effectively and concisely articulate progress on the Data Governance strategy and/or Data Risk and Control framework for senior leadership • Support the roll-out of processes impacting Data Domains across Services organization Qualifications: • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management or related area • Strong project management skills • Optimizes work processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement • Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes • Ability to communicate effectively • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Education: • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S for this position; Citi will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization for this role.
