Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & IT Operations, the Lead Dev Ops Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing a secure and efficient Dev Ops pipeline as well as cloud infrastructure within Azure, AWS cloud environments. This is a leadership position with the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Development: Architect and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, and Jenkins for efficient software delivery and deployment. Cloud Infrastructure Design & Automation (IaaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system monitoring with tools like Terraform and Bash/Python scripts. Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations (OSFI, etc.), including continuous monitoring and vulnerability management. Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and scalable deployment, including developing and managing Kubernetes custom Monitoring & Optimization: Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and reporting solutions (Azure Monitor, MS Defender, AWS Cloud Watch) to track system performance and address issues before they impact Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer. Proven expertise in Git Hub Actions/Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Experience with AWS cloud platforms/Dev Ops is a plus).Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).Familiarity with security principles and regulatory compliance Experience with Azure Cloud services, including monitoring, logging, and reporting tools. Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Power Shell, Python, or similar. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in distributed systems. Monitoring Tools: Azure Monitor, AWS Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana. Education and Certifications The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Certifications In: Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform are all considered assets.
