Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Infrastructure Design & Threat Response) Location: Remote – Candidates can reside in PA, VA, OH, TN, TX, GA, AZ, MO, FL (Some occasional onsite travel to Wisconsin or Illinois) Salary Range: $80K–$135K + Bonus + Full Benefits Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time Openings: 3 roles available About the Role: We’re hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead both the design/build of secure IT systems and the review, analysis, and defense against cybersecurity threats. This role is part of a growing enterprise security team with a focus on critical infrastructure protection and threat response. Top Priorities (What We Actually Need You To Do): • Conceptualize, Design, and Build secure IT systems (systems & network infrastructure) • Perform specialized review and evaluation of incoming cybersecurity information (threat analysis, alerts, vulnerability data) • Collect and analyze threat data from multiple tools and applications • Assess vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies • Support incident response, recovery planning, and policy enforcement Other Responsibilities: • Identity & Access Management (IAM) • Support cloud security initiatives (Azure, AWS, GCP) • Develop cybersecurity KPIs and status indicators • Ensure compliance with NERC CIP, SOX, and other regulatory standards • Execute security policies, governance, and risk frameworks Required Qualifications: • 5+ years in Cybersecurity (designing secure systems + threat response) • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience/certifications + military or professional background) • Strong understanding of systems/network development, risk assessment, and incident management Preferred Certifications: • CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP, GIAC, MCSE, GICSP, CSSA Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Active Directory Design & Management ✔PowerShell / .NET scripting ✔SOC (Security Operations Center) experience ✔Network Access Management, DNS, DHCP ✔Data Security & Cloud Infrastructure Security Benefits Include: • Annual Bonus + Wellness Incentive • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance • 401(k) with Company Match • Tuition Reimbursement • Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Parental Leave To Apply: Submit your resume via LinkedIn.
