Our client, a forward-thinking analytics firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with expertise in predictive modeling and machine learning to join their collaborative team. This hybrid role, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, US , offers an exciting opportunity to leverage vast datasets and advanced techniques to drive business insights and solutions. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and deploying sophisticated predictive models that forecast trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks across various business functions. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, complemented by a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with extensive experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop), is essential. Responsibilities include data exploration, feature engineering, model building, validation, and performance monitoring. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills are vital for explaining complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is highly desirable.
