Infosys is seeking a Senior Associate Platform Admin - Cognos Power BI. The Infosys Data and Analytics unit is dedicated to helping clients adopt an approach to ubiquitously create value from data. We move them away from the conventional use case or point solution-led approach towards the path to building industrialized capabilities to monetize data. We begin by creating an integrated blueprint of opportunities unique to their business for data-led value creation. Thereon we chart the roadmap to incrementally build the capabilities they need to deliver on the blueprint. Required Qualifications: • Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofMelbourne FL/ Richardson TX/ Raleigh NC/ Indianapolis IN/ Hartford CT/Tempe AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • In order to comply with legal requirements this role is limited to U.S. persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents and certain refugees and asylees. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in Cognos Power BI Platform Administration • Hands-on experience with Snowflake including data modeling Snowpipe Streams Tasks and performance tuning. • Foundational knowledge of BI platforms with some hands-on experience in either Cognos Analytics or Microsoft Power BI. • Familiarity with concepts of BI server administration such as server architecture and security models. • Basic knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts. • Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory is a plus. • Exposure to an AMS project model and an understanding of incident and change management. • Eagerness to learn and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues. • Experience working with US defense or government clients is highly preferred. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face.
