Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer in Test - SDET for a midsize e-learning healthcare platform located in Morrisville, NC. The Software Engineer in Test will work to design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks across web platforms. The Software Engineer in Test - SDET is a 6-month contract opportunity and requires you to sit onsite 3 days a week in Morrisville, NC. Responsibilities for the Software Engineer in Test - SDET include: - Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web platforms by executing tests across a variety of environments. - Translate business and technical requirements into detailed test scenarios to maximize coverage and traceability to support smarter testing and faster feedback loops. - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles. - Work collaboratively across multiple different teams, including development, product owners and other engineers. - Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in test automation throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications for the Software Engineer in Test - SDET include: - 3+ years of experience with Mobile testing - Previous experience using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Cypress - Background in JavaScript, C#, or Java to write test frameworks - Experience integrating test suites in CI/CD pipelines within platforms such as Azure DevOps, AWS, etc. - Understands the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure quality and compliance with the given requirements. Compensation for the Software Engineer in Test - SDET include: - Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 - Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
