Cloud Engineer, Mid Key Role: Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience deploying and maintainingAzureenvironments and resources • Experience in MicrosoftAzureservices, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such asAzureResource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform • Experience using Linux operating system and Bash scripting • Experience managing hybrid cloud environments • Knowledge ofAzurenetworking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups • Ability to work in an Agile, team-based environment using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence • TS/SCI clearance • HS diploma or GED • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification within 60 days of start date Additional Qualifications: • Experience developing software with Python, Go, or Java • Experience interfacing with Cloud Security Service Providers (CSSP) • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes • Experience inAzureActive Directory (AAD) • Experience managing a multi-tenant cloud environment across multiple DoD networks • Experience automatingAzureprocesses using PowerShell orAzureCLI • Experience with software or systems architecture • AzureEngineering or Architecting Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
