Summary As a Sr. Solutions Architect on the Databricks Public Sector Federal Health team, you will serve as a consultative partner to our customers, demonstrating genuine empathy for their mission. Your role involves envisioning new possibilities with our unified data and AI platform, understanding client challenges, and tackling complex problems. You will partner with the sales team, provide technical leadership, consult on big data architecture, implement proof of concepts, and build reference architectures. Expertise in cloud platforms, data engineering, analytics, data science, and AI is key. Must Have • 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role. • Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems. • Comfortable programming in, and debugging, at least one of: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R. • Experience supporting Public Sector clients. • Built solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Proficiency in Data Engineering technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Kafka. • Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts including SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS. • Must be a US Citizen. Good To Have • Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research). The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
