We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to assist in deploying our Linux-based solution into an Azure environment. This position will play a key role in configuring the system as a route, Explore if bridging our solution is viable, as well as mirroring internal segments within the Azure cloud infrastructure to the solution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Azure cloud services, networking, and experience with deploying custom applications on the Azure platform.Key Responsibilities:Deploy and configure Linux-based solution within the Azure cloud infrastructure.Create and manage Azure Storage Accounts, Blob Services, and Disk Resources for application deployment.Set up and configure Virtual Machines (VMs), ensuring appropriate network connectivity.Handle inbound and outbound port configurations for the application, with a focus on managing security rules and firewall policies.Assist with configuring to operate as a router, bridge, and mirror, based on deployment needs.Ensure the system integrates with Azure Virtual Networks and subnets, applying best practices in Azure Networking.Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during the installation and deployment phases.Document all procedures and configurations for future reference.Required Skills:Azure Expertise: Proficient in Azure Storage, Compute, and Networking services (Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, Blob Services, Virtual Networks).Linux System Administration: Strong experience in managing and deploying Linux-based applications in cloud environments.Azure Networking: Solid understanding of Azure Virtual Networks, subnetting, routing, and network security groups.Virtual Machine Configuration: Experience with creating, configuring, and managing Azure VMs, including disk resizing and inbound/outbound rule management.Cloud Application Deployment: Familiarity with the deployment of custom applications within Azure, including handling images, containers, and disk storage.Security & Firewall Management: Ability to configure port rules and firewall policies in Azure, ensuring secure deployment of applications.Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with networking and cloud infrastructure issues.Preferred / Beneficial Qualifications:Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Network Engineer).Cloud based network security tools.Experience with Azure deployment automation (ARM Templates, Terraform, or similar).Familiarity with cloud-based routing, mirroring, and bridging technologies.Additional Skills (as per instruction guide review):Azure Compute Services: Setting up additional disks, resizing, and managing storage.Inbound/Outbound Port Management: Knowledge of port range configurations (e.g., 47880-47881) and TCP rule management.Project Documentation: Strong skills in documenting deployment processes and system configurations.
