A company is looking for a Database Administrator to ensure applications remain scalable, reliable, and secure. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Azure SQL Managed Instances for high uptime, performance, and security Perform database backups and restores, and participate in disaster recovery planning and execution Monitor database performance and collaborate with the Database Architect and Software Engineering for performance tuning Required Qualifications BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, or related field 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or 3-5 years as a SQL developer transitioning to a DBA role Experience with Microsoft SQL server, preferably Azure SQL Database technologies Knowledge of database performance analysis tools and experience with SQL server installation and configuration Experience with scripting and automation in TSQL or PowerShell
Requirements
