About the role As a Full Stack Developer (.NET & React), you will make an impact by designing, developing, and deploying scalable web and cloud-based applications. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists. In this role, you will: • Build and maintain web applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC and React JS • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, etc.) • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack Work model: We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Washington, California or Oregon . What you need to have to be considered: • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in .NET (C#, .NET Core, Web API) • Strong proficiency in React JS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server • Experience with version control systems like Git • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail These will help you stand out: • Experience working in agile development environments • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth • Excellent communication and collaboration skills We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
