This role is part of the company’s modernization strategy and focuses on advancing cloud capabilities within Microsoft Azure and supporting the O365 Exchange email environment. Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Exchange Online. • Manage day-to-day mailbox and mail flow operations. • Assist with migrations, permissions, and user configurations. • Support senior administrators with project work and new tasks. • Develop, document, recommend, and implement processes for the corporate email environment. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (business clients, analysts, developers, architects) to define and deliver cloud-based solutions. • Maintain a centralized documentation library of standardized procedures and configurations. • Provide top-level support for incidents and problems in designated areas of expertise. • Work with offshore teams for development efforts and operational support. • Advise senior leadership on emerging M365 technologies and potential impacts to the production environment. • Maintain deep technical insight into Microsoft technologies. Skills & Expertise: • Systems and Technology: Strong understanding of systems architecture, hardware, operations, and lifecycle management. • Proactive monitoring of Microsoft Exchange and M365 services. • Hands-on technical support for Exchange and related technologies, including: • Office 365 email user management • Exchange Online maintenance • Data retention policies, email/data security, content search, and encryption • Application mail flow and routing • On-premise mail relay solutions • External mail gateway support • Mail flow strategy and internet routing • Administering MS Exchange Online via Admin Center and PowerShell • Project Management: Ability to plan and execute both large and small-scale projects. • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Effective collaboration across all organizational levels. • Active Learning: Ability to adapt to new information and apply it to problem-solving and decision-making. • Dependability: Demonstrates reliability and accountability in fulfilling responsibilities. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology. • Minimum 5 years of experience with M365/Exchange or Microsoft Exchange Certification. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
