Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy) Administrator with deep expertise in IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UDeploy) upgrades. This role requires hands-on experience as an administrator —not just a user—capable of managing upgrades, deployments, and plugin development. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing IBM licenses and integrating CI/CD tools into enterprise environments. • Position open to remote candidates • $60-65 / HR + benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401k) • 6 month contract position with potential for permanent conversion Key Responsibilities: • Administer, configure, and upgrade IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UDeploy) environments. • Develop and support custom UDeploy plugins, including integrations with tools like ServiceNow. • Manage IBM license keys and oversee the UDeploy licensing process. • Onboard and support consumers of the UDeploy application. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory. • Develop Jenkins Shared Libraries using Groovy. • Integrate and develop APIs to support automation and deployment workflows. • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes. • Maintain and support source control systems including GitHub, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps Server. • Operate within RHEL environments for deployment and configuration tasks. Required Qualifications: • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or related roles. • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UDeploy) as an administrator/developer. • Proven experience managing IBM License Key Center and UDeploy licensing processes. • Strong coding skills in Groovy, Ansible, Python, or similar scripting languages. • Experience building and supporting custom UDeploy plugins. • Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory. • Experience developing Jenkins Shared Libraries. • Expertise in API development and integration. • Strong knowledge of Git and version control tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, and Azure DevOps Server. • Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
