Top 3 Skills: 1) IBM MQ Experience 2) AIX Experience 3) Linux Experience Essential Functions • Provide administration and support of key applications across multiple platforms • Provide day-to-day support and monitoring of servers and applications • Provide after-hours support if necessary • Manage incidents according to IT policy and procedure • Manage manufacturer application upgrade lifecycle and keep all environments on supported versions • Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, application managers, infrastructure teams and other engineers to achieve product and team goals • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement • Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required • Proficient in administering IBM MQ Series environments and IIB/Broker/ACE environments • Proficient in AIX and Linux environments • Proficient in UNIX environment and shell scripting (KornShell/PowerShell) • Proficient understanding of Network Environments • Ability to understand modern technology and to have a technical conversation about an issue, request or recommendation • Proficient with DevOps tools and processes • Desire and ability to mentor, share skills, knowledge, and expertise • Renewing and installing certificates required, ciphers ae a plus • Strong analytical, problem solving, and live environment troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment utilizing Agile • Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions • Demonstrates dependability and commitment to projects and tasks via initiative, ownership, and availability • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Affinity Earn: Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
