To keep breaking barriers and redefining what's possible, we’re looking for candidates with the following exceptional technical capabilities: The Windows System Administrator will manage and administer Windows resources and infrastructure on a dedicated network within a production environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on System Administrator professional with significant experience in developing and deploying repeatable processes, tools, and infrastructure that enable the delivery of capabilities in a production environment. They must have strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of configuration automation, deployment, and continuous integration technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust solutions that can keep pace with new development and end users. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with a cross functional team. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. • Work with a team to administer Windows-based cloud and on-prem hosts within the customer environment and company lab environment in a repeatable and reliable manner • Harden Windows systems in support of customer security controls, apply OS updates and patches, and manage the underlying hardware • Mitigate all vulnerability findings from network scans • Manage security and policy through the application of Global Policy Objects (GPO) • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of software engineers, DevOps Engineers, analysts, project managers and other engineering groups to gather requirements and elicit input for the network and infrastructure • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in production systems and platforms. • Troubleshoots complex problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues. • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement • Write and update technical documentation such as system documentation, processes and procedures. • Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience. • Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory integration • Hands-on experience with Windows Backup and Recovery enterprise suites • Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions • Demonstrated hands-on experience using scripting for task automation, data transfer, etc. • Experience with Remote Desktop Services • AWS Experience (a must have): • VPC • Networking (Transit Gateway and Direct Connect) • AWS Logging (CloudWatch/CloudTrail) • Linux System Administration • Hardening and patching Linux OS • Installing and configuring Linux packages • Working with Linux repos • Windows System Administration • Active Directory experience (a must have) • Managing Group Policy Objects (GPO) • Active Directory Users and Computers • Certificate Authority/SSL experience - a bonus • Demonstrated hands-on experience with technologies like MECM • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) • Demonstrated hands-on experience working with VMWare and maintaining virtualized systems • AWS Managed AD Services (AD Connect, Microsoft Managed AD) • AWS WorkSpaces • Certificate Authority/SSL experience Website: http://www.renxtech.com Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/company/renegade-technology-llc BE, and its wholly owned subsidiary RenXTech, are trusted partners to the national security community, delivering future-forward solutions and cutting-edge support across cyber, technical, analytical, intelligence, and mission operations.
