We specialize in providing management and technology consulting services to support the business and technology modernization efforts of the Federal Government. ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations. Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team supporting federal programs. The ideal candidate will lead data collection, validation, and visualization efforts to deliver accurate, actionable reporting that supports leadership decision-making and compliance monitoring. This role will help to ensure data integrity, operational continuity, and performance transparency. Key Responsibilities: • Data Extraction & Validation • Pull, export, and validate data from various platforms. • Conduct quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability. • Coordinate with stakeholders to address data discrepancies and parallax. • Metric Tracking & Reporting • Develop, update, and brief reports compiled from various data sources on a cyclical basis to senior leadership. • Build and maintain dynamic heat maps, dashboards, and spreadsheets to visualize compliance and performance across focus areas. • Executive & Program Reporting • Prepare, format, and deliver ad-hoc and mission-specific reports upon leadership request. • Coordinate with leadership and personnel as necessary to ensure timely, accurate, and visually consistent executive reporting materials. • Process Improvement & Documentation • Create, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect evolving processes and improve usability and repeatability. • Support continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis, workflow refinement, and data standardization and present to leadership. Required: • Skills & Competencies: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and brief to executive leadership to facilitate decision making. • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools. • Strong understanding of data validation, normalization, and quality assurance practices. • Experience with SQL queries, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams-based reporting workflows. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Clearance: • Minimum Active Secret Clearance • Education & Experience: • Education: Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting, ideally supporting federal or defense programs. Desired: • Familiarity with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, DoD business processes, policies, and/or IT systems. • Experience developing or maintaining dashboards and KPI reporting structures in government or enterprise settings. • Demonstrated success in process documentation and development of executive level reporting visualizations.
