We are looking for an experienced Azure Engineer that enjoys solving complex technical problems. Our Engineers work with other experienced engineers to find the best technical solutions, but also grow their skills and learn through the process. This is all done knowing we’re providing the technical expertise our Customers do not have, so they can focus on building out their businesses.The candidate will need to continue working with the customer for future upgrades or expansion planning as the customer’s needs change. It is also required to document the solution thoroughly to ensure Systems Administrators and Data Center Technicians are able to participate in the day to day maintenance and diagnostics. Where documentation is incomplete, the Implementation Engineering team also becomes an escalation point for customer issues. Responsibilities:Serve as the primary expert for Azure based solutions to our Implementation teams. Stay educated and up-to-date as to the latest changes. Understand the customer’s pains and business objectives. How does that translate to their technical needs and requests? Participate in pre-sales activities such as conferences, calls, meetings, and email discussions to identify the technical needs of the client and make recommendations for an optimal implementation plan. Produce a complete implementation plan for all parts of the solution you are responsible for, identify which departments or employees are needed for tasks and how those tasks should be completed. Produce documentation that allows other staff members to understand the deployment and maintain and troubleshoot it. Maintain open communication with the client throughout the planning and deployment process to ensure goals are being met. Participate in the analysis of existing client solutions to plan upgrades. Deliver solutions within the specified timeline. Work with other team members to identify and evaluate new technology and tools to make available to Customer or to improve internal operations Act as an escalation point of contact for major issues involving Azure deployments. Required Qualifications:Experience in deploying and/or migrating multiple environments to AzureStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and organization skillsExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in or lead small teams to complete projectsExperience with complex Windows Server deployments Other Helpful Experience:Azure based certificationsAzure Automation & Management toolsOther Hypervisors such as Xen, KVM, and/or VMwareWeb servers, database servers, and related server softwareOther Cloud Platforms, such as AWS or Google CloudOffice 365
