You will design, develop and deliver Pega applications using Agile project methodology in order to satisfy client requirements. As a key member of our team, you will contribute expertise in a professional and collaborative work environment. In addition, you will mentor and grow junior consultants across the team, leading by example, improving their skills, and insisting on operational excellence. Location: Hybrid role in Bethesda, MD. Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires the ability to pass a background check What You'll Do: • Thought Leadership: Work with stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, clarify strategic objectives, and contribute to development plans as well as analyze and recommend how processes might be made to be more efficient. • Critical Thinking & Analysis: Solve problems, think critically, and analyze user feedback or requirements. Analyze problems and logically break down into sizable portions which can be presented to development teams or clients for consideration. • Digital Whiteboarding Tools: Use a variety of digital whiteboarding tools (Visio / Adobe XD / PowerPoint / Figma, etc.) in order to help provide users with a centralized point of reference in virtual meetings to help generate discussion and feedback. Utilize these tools on the fly in meetings quickly and adapt to user input to adjust and make changes in real time. Use meetings or other collaboration methods to generate documentation from diagrams or flowcharts. • Test Plans: Develop test plans for User Aided Testing scenarios for prospective projects as well as the creation of UAT web pages which outline the roles and steps needed for each UAT tester. • DevOps: Administer Work Item Management platforms such as Azure DevOps by running meetings, create and run queries, keep all work items up to date within the platform to help ensure teams are on track. • Documentation & User Guides: Develop pertinent documentation and user guides for NIA applications to be used and referred to by fellow developers or NIA Staff. • Communication Skills / Collaboration: Communicate clearly and collaborate with teams to iterate on ideas beneficial to the institute. Required Knowledge and Skills: • Bachelor's degree: engineering and technical backgrounds are a plus • Min 7 years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Process Management • Pega Business Architect Certification required • 2 years experience with Pega • Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps • Experience with digital whiteboarding tools (Visio / Adobe XD / PowerPoint / Figma, etc.) • Agile/Scrum development methodology knowledge/experience • Demonstrable consulting skill-sets, including requirements gathering and analysis Abilities: • Team player with excellent communication skills • Attentive to detail with excellent time-management skills • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic • Creative thinker who designs innovative solutions Nice to Haves: • NIH experience Salary Range: • Salary range is $120,000-155,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
