Your key responsibilities will include: • Installing, configuring, administering, and automating (CI/CD) application deployment. • Automating the scaling and management of server resources. • Implementing strategies for zero-downtime deployments and facilitating DevOps practices. This role is perfect for someone with a strong development, cloud, deployment, and operations background. Essential Qualifications: • 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Automation Engineer. • Solid understanding of microservice architectures, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Config. • Experience in infrastructure automation focusing on scalability, security, and performance. • Knowledge of various middleware application servers and containers from monolithic to modern versions. • Proficiency in Shell/Perl/Python scripting for pipeline modifications. • Experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, or microservices API development. • Ability to create Azure DevOps pipelines for configuration management, build, and deployment tasks. • Please bring your familiarity with DevOps agent tasks. • A skill for translating project requirements into Azure service designs. • Strong documentation skills for implementations and project status reporting. Please have a collaborative spirit to work alongside Engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, and Test Automation teams. Other Valuable Skills/Experiences: • 5-10 years of relevant experience is preferred. • Linux Administration • Shell scripting, YAML • Podman or Docker/Container expertise • Jenkins Administration & CI/CD Pipeline creation • Apache Administration and Rundeck • Azure Fundamentals (Microsoft Training AZ-900) • Proficient in utilizing Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Feeds) • Azure Front Door and API Management deployment support • Hands-on experience with Azure AKS/Kubernetes and Helm Charts • Familiarity with GitOps - Argo CD, Azure App Services, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Ansible • Understanding of GitHub Administration and Actions • Experience with Datadog for logging and tracing Desired Skills: • Proficient in Python scripting • Weblogic Administration and Deployment • Advanced GitHub features (Repo - Developer and Security) • ODS/LDAP Administration and SiteMinder • Terraform knowledge is a plus • Development experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, or microservices API Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
