Salary is 120k to 130k + bonus We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with strong SQL and relational database expertise to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming raw data into meaningful dashboards and reports, with a strong foundation in writing complex SQL queries, joining tables, and optimizing data models for performance and clarity. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, join, filter, and aggregate data from various sources. • Build and manage efficient data models using Power BI Desktop and Power Query, ensuring proper relationships, DAX measures, and calculated columns. • Work closely with data engineers and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reports and dashboards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs. • Perform data validation, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and resolve performance issues in reports and queries. • Schedule and manage report delivery using Power BI Service, including configuring row-level security (RLS) and data refreshes. • Document data sources, logic, and report configurations for maintainability and knowledge sharing. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role • Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in joining tables, subqueries, CTEs, and data aggregation • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehousing concepts • Experience in building data models, measures (DAX), and calculated columns in Power BI • Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation tools (Power Query, SSIS, etc.) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Experience working in an Agile or fast-paced environment is a plus Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Power BI or SQL certifications • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Snowflake) • Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating third-party data sources into Power BI
