Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Clinical Informatics Data Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Director of Clinical Informatics for Analytics & Interfaces. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining essential business reports using data from multiple sources. You will support the Care Connections team by extracting, validating, and analyzing data to help us measure and monitor our departmental initiatives. Additionally, you will play an active role in planning, developing, and implementing new builds and upgrades for our electronic medical record application, Epic. Essential Job Duties • Develop and maintain centralized reports to inform key decision-making. • Manage both internal and external data load processes effectively. • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues promptly. • Utilize BI tools to drive strategic initiatives forward. • Ensure data integrity for departmental reporting and guarantee seamless integration into Epic. • Conduct ad hoc analyses to address inquiries and resolve any anomalies. • Integrate external data sources and seek out automation opportunities in our data extraction processes. • Provide comprehensive data analyses, offering quantitative and qualitative insights, patterns, and trends to support decision-makers. • Maintain code using Azure DevOps for version control. • Ensure departmental and individual performance goals are consistently met. • Create and maintain thorough documentation for all areas of responsibility. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Proficient in SQL. • Experience with report development in SSRS and Power BI. • Familiarity with Databricks. • Experience using ETL/ELT tools like SSIS or Azure Data Factory. • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail. • Ability to question, review, and identify any data gaps in reports or processes. • Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A healthy curiosity, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn new tools and platforms. • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently to meet internal deadlines. • Familiarity with version control applications such as TFS or Azure DevOps. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and across departments. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • 3-5 years of experience in SQL Programming. • 2-3 years of experience as a BI Engineer. • 2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence Development.
