Job Title: Azure Application Architect (Java Focus) Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Azure Application Architect with deep expertise in Java to lead the technical design and migration of enterprise applications to the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern architecture patterns and a proven track record of implementing scalable, cloud-native solutions. Key Qualifications: • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with advanced Java programming concepts and application architecture. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Technical Proficiency: Must possess extensive experience with the following: • Cloud Architecture: Designing and architecting applications specifically for Microsoft Azure. • Java Frameworks: Advanced development with Java Spring Boot. • API Management: Implementation and management of API Gateways. • Data Management: Working with both RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies. • Development Practices: Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and associated toolchains. • Architectural Patterns: Designing and building Microservices-based applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop and define the target-state technical architecture for migrating applications from platforms like PCF, WebLogic, and Tomcat to Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS). • Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing system configurations, including hardware, software, and messaging infrastructure. • Take ownership of the definition and planning for a total disaster recovery strategy.
