• *Must sit in either Atlanta, GA or Southfield, MI** Description A client of ours is looking to add a CloudOps Engineer to their existing team here in the US. This person will be part of a team that focuses on their virtualized Windows environment as well as supporting the overall health, growth, and maintenance of their Azure services. They will be looking for someone that has experience with designing & implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for their Azure suite of services. Currently the environment is still a bit dated and have 90% of things within their VM environment. Will be looking for forward thinking engineers that can assist with slowly, but surely moving the organization to a cloud first mindset including automating things in the environment thru Terraform. One example of the expectation on the job is working within Azure Advisor to identify opportunities for improvement across the environment, plan, and execute against those goals to provide further efficiencies to the Azure services in question. Skills Azure, Windows, Systems engineering, Administration, Cloud, Windows server, VMware, Terraform Additional Skills & Qualifications - 3+ years of experience working within an Azure cloud environment - Familiarity with Infra and workload provisioning - Strong knowledge of Azure cloud concepts, technologies, and services - 3+ years of experience in supporting and improving reliability of Cloud operations (including any exposure to cloud transformations or migrations) - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM) - Proficiency creating technical and non-technical documentation - Experience with ITIL processes as well as ticketing systems such as ServiceNow Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Salary with 10% bonus annually. Starts off with 3 weeks of PTO, 8 holidays, and 2 floating holidays as well. Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Southfield,MI.
