Cyber Security Analyst level II Virginia Beach - on-site Long Term Required Skills • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices • and concepts. • Knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, • GDPR, state data privacy laws). • Experience with security systems: firewalls, • IDS/IPS, antivirus, vulnerability scanners. • Experience supporting audits and compliance • assessments. • Hands-on experience with incident response and • forensic investigations. • Understanding of secure software development and • application security. • Familiarity with risk management, mitigation, • and monitoring. • Knowledge of Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Strong communication skills for technical and • non-technical audiences. • Ability to produce technical reports, metrics, • and dashboards. • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT • infrastructure, or related discipline. • Prior experience in local government • environments is preferred. • Professional certifications: Security+, CISM, • CISA, CISSP, Ethical Hacker, GSEC. • Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework • and ISO 27001 Framework.
