Overview Microsoft 365 Collaboration and Training Consultant (Contractor) role at MetaSource. The Microsoft 365 Collaboration and Training Consultant will help MetaSource leverage Microsoft Office 365 technologies to enhance knowledge sharing, training, and organizational collaboration. This role ensures the proper setup and governance of collaboration tools, manages project-specific content as the single source of truth, supports training programs, and partners with technical teams to integrate AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate is skilled (or highly motivated to learn quickly) in Microsoft 365 applications, detail-oriented, and able to translate technology into practical business value. Responsibilities Ensures appropriate team members have access to Microsoft Teams channels and manages permissions for effective communication and project collaboration. Maintains, updates, and curates project-specific content in Microsoft OneDrive, ensuring it serves as the authoritative source of information. Edits, catalogs, and organizes recordings of trainings and meetings in Microsoft Stream for easy access and reuse. Creates and edits videos with tools such as Microsoft Clipchamp or HeyGen. Supports training delivery by creating quizzes, surveys, and course evaluations in Microsoft Forms. Develops structured, sequential learning activities and automated processes using Microsoft Power Automate. Builds and shares dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to track quiz results, training completions, and learning outcomes. Collaborates with the Software Development team to assist in prototyping, testing, and releasing AI Assist tools using Microsoft Azure AI. Identifies opportunities to improve organizational collaboration, knowledge management, and training effectiveness using Microsoft 365 tools. Collaborates with internal teams and subject-matter experts to align training solutions with organizational goals. Manages project timelines, feedback cycles, and deliverables independently. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Education Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, OneDrive, Stream, Forms, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure AI. Ability to edit and manage video and digital learning content. Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and reports. Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with business, training, and technical teams. Openness to learning tools such as HeyGen or Scribe. Preferred Requirements Experience in training design, learning management, or knowledge management Some exposure to AI models such as Microsoft Azure AI Knowledge of SCORM or other Learning Management System deployments Experience with UI, UX, or graphic design Employment is contingent upon completing and passing a background check and drug test.
