Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Power Apps Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive the development, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft Power Platform solutions for defense-related projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, coupled with experience in integrating these technologies into secure federal environments. This role requires an active Secret Clearance and prior experience in defense or federal projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) within a secure environment. Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Leverage Dataverse and SharePoint Online for data management and integration. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective Power Platform solutions. Ensure compliance with DoD security and governance standards, including adherence to DISA STIGs and NIST guidelines. Integrate Power Apps with Azure services, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party applications. Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide real-time analytics and insights. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues related to Power Platform implementations. Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users. Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and cybersecurity assessments for Power Platform solutions. Required Qualifications: Active U.S. Secret Clearance (Must be current and verifiable). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure Services, and Dataverse. Experience integrating Power Apps with REST APIs, Graph API, and SQL databases. Familiarity with DoD security standards, RMF, and FedRAMP compliance. Hands-on experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and custom connectors. Expertise in JavaScript, Power Fx, JSON, and other scripting languages related to Power Platform development. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with government stakeholders and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600). Experience working on DoD or federal government projects. Knowledge of Power Virtual Agents and AI Builder for automation. Experience with Agile and Dev Sec Ops methodologies.
