We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst (Data Analytics) to join our client a large academic health system in Indianapolis. TheSenior Financial Analyst willsupport a data-driven financial strategy by delivering actionable insights that drive operational excellence and responsible expense management. This role plays a key part in providing high-impact analytics to financial services leadership and regional executives enabling informed decision-making across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst (Data & Analytics) is pivotal in identifying operational inefficiencies improving cost management and supporting strategic goals through advanced data analysis financial modeling and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in SQL Microsoft Power BI and financial strategy with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear actionable recommendations. Resumes may be submitted directly or via email to Responsibilities • Conduct in-depth financial data analysis interpretation and modeling to support sound financial management practices. • Prepare accurate monthly and ad hoc reports including pro forma statements using historical comparative and forecasted data. • Deliver high-quality financial insights to support outcome-driven and impact-based decision-making. • Identify evaluate and interpret trends and patterns within complex datasets with a high degree of precision. • Develop and maintain dashboards reports and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI to communicate key financial performance indicators and insights. • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver customized data-informed solutions. • Serve as a subject matter expert in financial reporting tools promoting data-driven decision-making across teams. • Ensure data integrity security and compliance with governance standards. • Translate technical and financial insights into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership. • Document data models metric definitions and reporting procedures to ensure clarity and consistency. Experience • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required. • 2 years of relevant financial or operational analysis experience especially with complex data sets. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL and Microsoft Power BI strongly preferred. • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate in a team-oriented environment. • Prior knowledge of healthcare operations billing cycles and/or related applications preferred. • Experience in financial modeling forecasting and business intelligence reporting.
