New Jersey Resources is seeking a .NET Developer to provide technical support, trouble shoot and resolve issues for applications. Major Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Support software systems using both modern and legacy technologies such as .NET, VB.NET, Remoting, C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, REST API, GRPC API, Azure AD Integration, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, OfficeJS, SAS integrations, and related technologies. • Develop new software systems using modern technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing systems to enhance functionality and performance. • Assist in migrating legacy systems to newer technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Document technical processes, system configurations, and support procedures for future reference. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our software solutions. • Deliver operational support by monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications to ensure seamless functionality and minimal downtime. • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the software applications. • Monitor and report project status to management, anticipating and identifying issues that may hinder project goals and implementing corrective actions. Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field. • Proficiency in Windows and new front-end development web technologies. • Proven experience in supporting and developing software applications using .NET, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, Azure Services, Azure DevOps, and related technologies. • Experience in using messaging platform like Rabbit MQ or similar. • Experiencing in SAS integrations. • Experience in using enterprise task scheduler. • Experience with modern development tools and practices, such as GIT version control, continuous integration, and agile methodologies. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A proactive attitude and a passion for learning and implementing new technologies. Nice to have: • Experience with commodity trading platforms. • Familiarity with trading workflows and compliance in commodity markets. • Market data API experience. • Experience in using Azure DevOps. • Experience in developing office js apps using React JS. • Experience with DevExpress/Infragistics or other third-party controls. • The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary. Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $87,700- $111,800. Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
