5 days onsite in Des Moines, IA or Davenport, IA 5+ years exp. Technology Stack: C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, Unix, Oracle WebLogic, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps Job Title: Software Developer Location: Onsite Daily (Open to either Des Moines, IA or Davenport, IA) Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire – Will sponsor H1B upon conversion. Position Overview: • Support and develop .NET applications (primarily C# and VB.NET) with Oracle and SQL Server backends, including both sustainment and new development for utility-related systems. Key Technologies: • C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, Unix (basic skills), Oracle WebLogic, ASP.NET (helpful but not primary), Visual Studio, Azure DevOps for source control. Project Work: • Involvement in migration from CGI OMS to Oracle NMS, integration work, and support for a large number of existing Windows-based applications and some web applications (notably an outage watch app). Experience Required: • Preferably 4–10 years of industry experience; must be able to work independently without extensive handholding, but not at an architect level. • Flexible SDLC—mix of sprint-based and ad hoc enhancements; must be comfortable with both structured and informal processes. • Strong problem-solving, willingness to learn, team-oriented, collaborative, and able to handle both support and new development tasks.
