Job description

Job Duties: • Collaborate with multiple internal IT teams to develop, maintain and manage architectural standards that meet developer, network and security requirements. • Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders and internal IT solutions teams to facilitate architecting and implementing solutions for business needs. • Architect and deploy solutions based on recommendations from City application assessment tools and processes. • Recommend process improvements to the City's DevSecOps processes and assessment tools and processes. • Manage a DevSecOps program in collaboration with Information Security to include the following: • Policies and procedures regarding development processes • Ensure CI/CD pipeline standards are followed • Program responsibilities matrices • Development security standards policies and procedures Desired Experience and Skills: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps programs. • Thorough understanding of cloud platforms, technologies, security and administration including AWS, Azure, and GCP • Extensive experience with the following technical concepts: • Scalable web architectures • High availability solutions • Automation and Orchestration capabilities and best practices • Containerization • Serverless architectures and solutions • Infrastructure as code • Scale out and scale up architectures • Multiple programming languages including but not limited to C#, .NET, Python, Ruby, Java Script • Application build pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins • Automation platforms and tools such as VMWare vRealize Automation, Terraform, and Ansible ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans
