Position Requirements: • Experience: 8+ years in data engineering, including 5+ years with Azure data and analytics solutions. • Key Skills & Keywords to Search: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Engineer. Core Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable, cost-effective data storage solutions with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse. • Develop and manage ETL processes using Azure Data Factory; extract, transform, and load data into data lakes and warehouses. • Work with big data tools (e.g., Apache Spark) to build data workflows, analytics, and ML pipelines. • Build and maintain applications to support large-scale architectural migrations in Agile environments. • Monitor and optimize data pipelines, ensuring high performance and efficiency. • Create interfaces to support new applications, data sources, and data types. • Document data models, pipelines, and engineering processes for transparency and maintainability. Required Technical Expertise: • Strong proficiency in Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake. • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, ADF, Power BI Dataflow). • Database management with MSSQL and Azure data services. • Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. • 3+ years programming experience in Python/PySpark. • 7+ years working with Microsoft Azure. • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SAFe methodology, and DevOps. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • Excellent problem-solving skills, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail. • Proven experience in cloud-based data migration and Agile delivery models.
