System Administrator - Senior Primary Location: Raleigh, North Carolina V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a System Administrator - Senior for our premier client in Raleigh, North Carolina. Education And Experience » • Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or • High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 3-5 years of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience managing virtual machines including vulnerability and patch management. • Systems administrator experience: 3 Years. • Microsoft Azure: 3 Years. • Microsoft 365: 3 Years. • Azure VM: 3 Years. • Nutanix: 3 Years. • Maintaining and patching Microsoft Windows VMs: 3 Years. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: • Assisting with implementing security measures and monitor access to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. • Set up and maintain cloud servers, applications and services, resolving any issues that arise. • Monitor and manage the efficient use of cloud resources, such as CPU, memory, and storage. • Identify and mitigate potential threats, system vulnerabilities. • Maintain acceptable configurations and identify deviations. • Manage other special divisional projects and initiatives as assigned. • Provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks. intrusions anomalous activities, and misuse activities.
