SharePoint Specialist 💰 Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year At SMS Data Products Group, Inc. we are looking for a C#.NET engineer! 🛠️ Our tech stack: ASP.NET, C#, Cloud, CSS, Flow, Support, JavaScript, Power BI, SQL, Security, SharePoint, Web, Office 365, .NET 📝 Rquirements: - A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field in Management Information Systems is preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree; a High School diploma is required if there is no higher education diploma. - A minimum of three to five years of experience in software development within a web environment, particularly with MS SharePoint and .NET web development, along with familiarity with DISA security standardization processes and application of DISA STIGs. - Proficient in Microsoft platform tools including SharePoint 2013 and O365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Forms). - Possess strong critical thinking skills, be a self-starter, and able to lead other team members diplomatically. - Capable of multitasking and adapting to a dynamic environment while being dependable and reliable. - Experience with Site Collection Management/Administration of MS SharePoint 2013/2016/Online. - Proven ability to assist users in problem-solving by leveraging SharePoint’s capabilities relevant to their job functions. - Skilled in establishing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders and users. - Ability to apply standard software engineering methods and project lifecycle management techniques effectively to deliver high-quality software and documentation. - Competent in writing and updating user and admin documentation for applications in compliance with customer specifications. - Experience in project development, particularly in capturing functional and technical requirements. - Capable of working independently or collaboratively with other developers. - Actively engaged in agile/scrum software development processes. - Understanding of industry standards and style guides for code design to enhance code formatting and increase the efficiency of peer reviews. - Familiarity with applying Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs), including Web Server STIG, Application Security and Development STIG, SQL Server STIG, and Cloud SRG. - Prior experience in a government consulting services environment is highly desired. - An active DoD SECRET clearance is necessary, or the ability to obtain an Interim clearance. - A minimum DoD 8570 IAT-II (Sec+ CE) certification is required. 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are: - Configure, manage, and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions efficiently. - Adhere to established policies and procedures for change and incident management. - Utilize low code/no code environments, including workflows that integrate customer business rules (e.g., SharePoint Workflows, O365 - Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps). - Analyze existing code (ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS) to facilitate replacement in new environments. - Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using various coding technologies, including, but not limited to, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, ASP.NET, and/or C#. - Develop and tailor SharePoint solutions utilizing Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, and other pertinent technologies. - Create and uphold custom SharePoint web parts, workflows, forms, and applications to satisfy specific business requirements. - Implement and manage branding and theming for SharePoint environments.
