The Enterprise Application Administrator works continuously with various departments, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the optimal performance of applications. This individual possesses strong technical experience with Salesforce-based association management solutions as well as solid communication skills. The Enterprise Application Administrator works directly with internal business owners to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions for their audiences. This position offers potential growth in to more senior IT leadership roles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Thorough knowledge and experience in all aspects of Salesforce configuration and functional/technical capabilities. • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate applications with other systems, ensuring data consistency and efficient workflows. • Provide technical support to internal and external end-users, troubleshooting application-related problems, and offering solutions to enhance their user experience. • Responsible for the day-to-day ticket queue managing user requests and issues within the Salesforce platform. • Focus on the reduction in ticket resolution time. • Create and manage Salesforce components such as objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, approval processes, and validation rules. • Assist with design and creation of advanced reports and dashboards in Salesforce. • Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization. • Import customer/prospect data into Salesforce/Pardot following PCMA data policies. • Create, monitor, and manage reports that deliver data to the various business owners. • Completion of projects within scope and timelines Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies. • Subject matter expert knowledge of the Salesforce-based association management solutions (Sales, Service, Marketing). FONTEVA and/or Association Management System experience ideal. • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, or Communities certifications and project experience preferred. • Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and provide mentorship to internal and external staff and subcontractors • Thorough knowledge and experience in all aspects of salesforce configuration and functional/technical capabilities. • Experience in maintaining user roles, profiles, and security settings. • Experience in implementing monitoring services to identify issues proactively. • Experience in the implementation and managing Salesforce ISVs. • Experience in sandbox, production deployments and CI/CD technologies and processes. • Development experience with integration middleware platforms such as Mulesoft or Zapier. • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, API's, Agile, and Dev-Ops. • Knowledge of membership management systems in an association setting. • Previous experience in a professional society or professional association environment. • Understanding of data privacy regulations • Must possess solid organizational skills and show ability to address several issues simultaneously. • Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in a fun, fast-paced environment. • Initiative-taker and self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and critical problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration) or equivalent work experience. • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications preferred. • Proven experience in enterprise application administration, including familiarity with various enterprise software applications, databases, and operating systems. • A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience using SFDC and components such as Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Mobile, Single Sign On, APIs, and integration to enterprise systems; two (2) years as a SFDC administrator. • Strong SFDC knowledge and Integration components for SFDC (for example, SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging, SFDC data loaders and ETL Tools - e.g., Datastage). • Strong data management abilities. • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements. • Demonstrated understanding of SDLC methodologies. • Experience with task management tools such as Jira and Microsoft Tasks. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS • This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with mandatory in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Chicago, Illinois. Remote work is flexible on Mondays and Fridays. • Some after-hours support may be necessary during critical deployments. • Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time. • Ability to sit /stand for extended periods of time in performing the work. • Ability to walk for extended periods of time in performing the work. • Ability to pull or push objects of varying weights in performing the work. • Ability to grasp objects utilizing the fingers (fine motor manipulation). • Ability to travel by air or ground transportation as required in performing the work. • Ability to lift to fifteen pounds.
