**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Fabric Architect to lead the design, transformation, and implementation of our enterprise data environment using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. As a Fabric Architect / Team Lead, you will lead a team of skilled engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to drive our cloud data strategy and ensure the successful delivery of innovative and scalable Fabric solutions. **Responsibilities:**
1. Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of Fabric engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. * Provide guidance on best practices, technical solutions, and career development for team members. * Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution. 2. Architectural Design:
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance cloud architectures using Microsoft Fabric services, with a strong understanding of when to use Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, SQL Database, Eventhouse, Data Factory, Spark Notebooks, and other Fabric entities based on specific use cases and requirements. * Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture designs, deployment processes, and best practices. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and approaches to enhance our Fabric capabilities. 3. Solution Implementation:
• Oversee the deployment of Fabric solutions, including infrastructure, applications, and integrations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Fabric solutions with existing systems and processes. * Ensure that solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards. 4. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. * Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. 5. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Utilize Fabric and Azure monitoring tools to track performance, identify issues, and optimize the performance of cloud solutions. * Implement best practices for cost management and resource utilization to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of Fabric services. 6. Security and Compliance:
• Ensure that all Fabric solutions are designed and implemented with a focus on security, compliance, and data protection. * Stay updated on the latest security trends and Fabric features to proactively address potential vulnerabilities. 7. Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Fabric-based solutions. * Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, encouraging ongoing learning and professional development. **Qualifications:**
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering/data analytics, with at least 5 years of experience specifically with Microsoft Azure data engineering and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric. * Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects. * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. **Benefits:**
